I did my research and I’m glad I did because I bought the most durable fence I’ve ever had. It’s been over 5 years now, and I haven’t had to worry about maintenance or weather damage of any kind. The black aluminum fence that I purchased came with a powder coat finish, which eliminated the need for painting and reduced the chance or rusting (unlike my previous iron fence). I decided to install the fence myself to save some money, which worked out really well since aluminum is relatively light and manageable to carry. What I really like about my fence is the way it looks and the impression it gives. It looks very elegant (especially with the flowers I planted around it), but it also gives the impression of security. A fence is a long term investment, so it’s best to make a wise choice and go for quality rather than having a fence that will cost you more in maintenance down the road.
